The ITX Journal of Information Technology & Computer Science is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all submitted manuscripts throughout the editorial and peer-review process.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are treated as confidential documents and must not be disclosed, discussed, or shared with unauthorized individuals under any circumstances.


Confidentiality of Manuscripts

Editors, reviewers, editorial staff, and publishing personnel must ensure that:

  • Submitted manuscripts remain confidential during the review and publication process.
  • Unpublished materials are not disclosed to third parties without authorization.
  • Information obtained through peer review is not used for personal, academic, or commercial advantage.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are required to:

  • Treat all manuscripts as strictly confidential documents.
  • Avoid sharing manuscript content with colleagues or external parties.
  • Refrain from discussing unpublished research outside the review process.
  • Not retain copies of manuscripts after completing the review.

Reviewers must not use any unpublished data, ideas, methods, or findings obtained during peer review for their own research purposes.


Responsibilities of Editors

Editors and editorial board members must:

  • Preserve the confidentiality of authors, reviewers, and manuscript details.
  • Avoid disclosing reviewer identities in the double-blind review process.
  • Ensure that editorial decisions are conducted fairly and confidentially.

Editorial information must only be shared with individuals directly involved in the publication process.


Protection of Author Information

The journal protects all personal and professional information submitted by authors, including:

  • Names and affiliations
  • Email addresses
  • ORCID identifiers
  • Manuscript files and supplementary materials

Such information is used solely for editorial and publication purposes.


AI and Third-Party Systems

Confidential manuscripts, reviewer comments, datasets, figures, or unpublished materials must not be uploaded to public artificial intelligence systems, external platforms, or third-party services without explicit editorial authorization.


Breach of Confidentiality

Any violation of confidentiality policies may result in:

  • Removal from the reviewer or editorial board
  • Rejection of manuscripts
  • Reporting to affiliated institutions when necessary
  • Additional ethical actions in accordance with COPE guidelines
