All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened for plagiarism before the peer-review process begins. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts or retract published papers if plagiarism or unethical publication practices are identified at any stage of the publication process.

The manuscript similarity report is carefully evaluated to determine the originality and ethical compliance of the submission.

Similarity Thresholds

The journal generally follows the similarity criteria below:

20% – 30% Manuscript returned to authors for mandatory revision
More than 30% Manuscript may be rejected before peer review
More than 50% Immediate rejection without review

Types of Plagiarism

Plagiarism may appear in several forms, including but not limited to:

Direct Plagiarism

Copying text directly from another source without proper citation or acknowledgment.

Self-Plagiarism

Reusing substantial portions of the author’s previously published work without proper citation or disclosure.

Self-plagiarism does not apply when authors properly cite their own previously published conference papers or copyrighted materials.

Mosaic Plagiarism

Using phrases, ideas, or sentence structures from multiple sources while presenting them as original writing.

Figure & Table Plagiarism

Copying or reusing:

  • Equations

without proper permission or citation.

Internet Plagiarism

Using text, images, or materials downloaded from internet sources without acknowledgment.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • All submitted work is original.
  • Sources are properly cited.
  • Quotations are clearly identified.
  • Permissions are obtained where necessary.
  • Previously published material is disclosed appropriately.

Authors must understand the difference between:

  • Quoting
  • Paraphrasing
  • Referencing
  • Original writing

AI-Generated Content

Authors using Artificial Intelligence tools must ensure that:

  • Generated content is reviewed carefully.
  • Fabricated references are avoided.
  • Originality is maintained.
  • AI usage is disclosed transparently.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Duplicate Submission & Redundant Publication

Authors must not:

  • Submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
  • Publish substantially similar work in multiple venues without disclosure.

Duplicate publication is considered unethical behavior.

Plagiarism Detected After Publication

If plagiarism is identified after publication, the Editorial Board will conduct an investigation according to international publication ethics standards.

Depending on the severity of the misconduct, actions may include:

  • Publication of corrections
  • Editorial notices
  • Formal retraction
  • Removal from indexing systems
  • Notification of the author’s institution

Retracted papers may remain online with clear retraction notices to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Reporting Plagiarism

Researchers, reviewers, and readers who identify possible plagiarism in published articles are encouraged to contact the editorial office with supporting evidence.

All reported cases will be investigated confidentially and professionally.
