Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the scientific quality, integrity, and credibility of the journal. All reviewers are expected to conduct reviews professionally, objectively, and confidentially.
The responsibilities of reviewers include:
- Evaluating the originality, significance, and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
- Assessing the technical quality, methodology, analysis, and validity of the research.
- Providing constructive, clear, and unbiased comments that help authors improve their work.
- Identifying ethical concerns, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or unethical research practices.
- Reviewing manuscripts objectively without personal criticism toward the authors.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all submitted manuscripts and review materials.
- Declining review assignments when a conflict of interest exists.
- Completing the review process within the assigned review period.
- Informing the editorial office if additional time is required for review completion.
- Recommending one of the editorial decisions:
- Accept Submission
- Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions
- Reject Submission
- Reporting relevant published or submitted work that has not been properly cited by the authors.
- Avoiding the use of confidential manuscript content for personal research or professional advantage.
- Refraining from uploading unpublished manuscripts or confidential data to public AI systems or third-party platforms.
Reviewers are encouraged to support the journal’s commitment to academic integrity, ethical publishing standards, and high-quality scientific communication.
